Trees near Roosevelt, Arizona, form a haunting silhouette against a twilight sky. This photo was taken on an early spring camping trip to Pinto Creek. This beautiful riparian area on the eastern edge of the Superstition Mountains is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life supported by a nearly perennial creek. This was an early shutter speed experiment with my newly purchased camera.
