This sunrise photo of a large Saguaro was taken near the Salt River Recreation Area. Four Peaks can be seen in the distance. While the Salt River is heavily travelled, it is close to Phoenix and provides an opportunity to “get away” from the city and glimpse the Sonoran Desert. I visit frequently in the off-season (October – March).
